Four additional slopes, a new 6-seated chair lift with weather protection hood and seat heating as well as a fabulous setup for the snowpark – once again the Turracher Höhe proves that at this spot no one is resting on his last season’s laurels. Event highlights such as the annual QParks Tour Stop will make freestyler’s hearts beat faster.

Even though it still takes a while until the winter season at Turracher Höhe starts, visitors can already look forward to this season’s improvements: With four additional ski-runs and the brand-new Schafalmbahn, the winter sports range at Turracher Höhe reaches a new level. The fair-weather skiing resort between Carinthia and Styria is awaiting its guests with a variety of different offers. Not only the slopes with reliable snow conditions on 2.205 meters above sea level, but also the unique hiking paths and cross country runs leave nothing to be desired.

However, at Turracher Höhe, action-packed runs are not only to be found on regular pistes. At the Funslope, young wintersport lovers – and those who stayed young – have the possibility to thrive and to discover spectacular obstacles such as the Fun Twister or the High Five smiley. Real freestylers will rather head to the Snowpark Turracher Höhe which is expanded by a couple of novelties this winter.

With Ricky Lalos as new park designer, the Turracher Höhe has hit the jackpot this winter. The native-born Frenchman is counted among the best park designers in Europe and will surely make snowboarders and freeskiers happy with a brilliant setup. Freestyle beginners can make their first moves on the numerous butter boxes and 3-4m kickers. For more advanced riders, four improvements will be waiting: a 7m rainbow tube, two 6m butter boxes (wave and up/down) as well as a 10m flat/down box. The highlight for jibbers will again be the infamous 18m industry multi jib, which demands both skills and creativity. The whole setup, with details to its host of 46 obstacles, can be seen at the parkwebsite!

You want to digitally eternalize yourself and your tricks? No problem, the automated SpotOn video system will be installed at Snowpark Turracher Höhe again. 8 juxtaposed HD Cameras track and record your run and shortly afterwards you can watch your lap video on your smartphone. The only thing you have to do is to download and activate the “SpotOn Video-App” – and, of course – deliver a startling performance!

If that’s still not enough action for you, you should definitely stop by at the Nock’n’Rock, the QParks Tour Stop at Turracher Höhe. On the 20th of February 2016, all riders have the chance to win great prices and to collect a lot of points for the overall rankings of the QParks Tour.
