FREI.GANG Schiltach: panoramic hiking route to Hinterlehengericht

Starting from Schiltach town hall, the path leads up the paved street. At the last house, turn left onto a meadow path and then soon onto a forest path, always ascending, following the yellow diamond. After about 1 hour, you reach a paved cross street, where turning left you soon reach the Schwenkenhof mountain inn. On a scenic mid-height location, you reach Rohrbach via Höfen and Rotlach. A small detour of 200 m leads us to the popular snack inn Rohrbachstüble. The sign Rohrbachgrund points the way downhill to Rohrbachgrund. We must especially watch for an acute-angled junction about 300 m past Rohrbach, which leads alongside the little Rohrbach brook into the valley. At the paved cross street, turn right towards Schiltach. Soon you reach the federal road and reach Schiltach again after 3 km on the paved foot and cycle path. The entire route is uniformly marked with the yellow route.
