The Museum of the Celts is one of the most important Celtic Museums in Europe - it shows the biggest find of prehistoric Celtic period of the Dürrnberg and at the same time the most detailed representation of middle-age salt mining.

Located in the former dewlling house of Franz Xaver Gruber, the "Stille Nacht Museum" offers a view into the live of the composer and shows one original version of the most famous Christmas carol as well as the guitar used for the very first performance at Christmas Eve in 1818.

Opening hours Stille Nacht Museum:
January 7 to 1st Advent daily 15 to 17 hrs.
1st Advent to January 6 daily 11 to 17 hrs.
