Snowshoe hike Reitlehenalm

The start of the route is at the parking lot next to the monte popolo valley station by the practice lift "Topolino I". From here, the ascent continues to the right of the practice lift across a flat meadow area to the edge of the forest (along the ski touring route). Below the torrent control, the route turns right along the hiking trail into the forest. The track leads uphill along the Pöttlergraben through the forest until you reach the forest road. Follow the forest road to the mountain station "Popolo I". The Reitlehenalm is also located there.

Warm clothing, suitable snowshoes, and poles.

Take exit 60 Eben im Pongau on the A10 Tauern Autobahn and drive through the town to the monte popolo lift parking lot.

From Altenmarkt via B99, turn right about 200m after the town sign onto the monte popolo lift parking lot. 

From Hüttau via B99, drive through the town to the monte popolo lift parking lot on the left side.

The Eben train station is about a 10-minute walk from the starting point.
A ski and post bus stop is located directly at the valley station (Reitlehenbahnen/monte popolo).

The monte popolo lift parking lot is available free of charge all year round.
