Skiing fun for the whole family! Already in 1972 cable car pioneer Andrä Brandtner sen. set the cornerstones with the construction of the first T-bar lifts and the high-altitude road to the Steinplatte Waidring. To this day it is a popular paradise for winter sports enthusiasts in the middle of the border triangle Tyrol-Salzburg-Bavaria.
In addition to the easy accessibility from Waidring (AT) or Reit im Winkl (D), the Steinplatte can trump with a snow-sure sunny plateau location. 42 first-class, wide kilometers of slopes, plus cozy huts, promise winter fun for young and old. Freestylers rock the daily shaped Snowpark Steinplatte with more than 50 different elements. For all the little ones there's the Triassic Funline with dinosaur stations.
While winter hikers enjoy the fantastic panorama on the way to the viewing platform or to the stalactite cave, cross-country skiers feel right at home on the trails of the Winklmoosalm. So what are you waiting for?
