Gemma Grundner Kripperl schaun, presentation of the Christmas story

The unique mechanical Grundner nativity scene was created around 1740 and is still one of the village's most important cultural assets today. It is on display and can be viewed in the Altenmarkt local history museum and has 120 figures, 80 of which are movable. Let yourself be moved by the biblical Christmas story and scenes from artisan and rural life.
