The start of this route is the Schifflände in Büsingen. We recommend you take the ship of the Untersee and Rhine Navigation Company from the Schifflände Schaffhausen to the Schifflände in Büsingen. You can find the timetable at: www.urh.ch. Tickets can be purchased directly on the ship.
In Büsingen, you have the option to stop at the Lido beach. Here you can cool off in the Rhine or dine at the restaurant. In Büsingen, it is also worth taking a small detour to the small, very impressive over 1000-year-old Romanesque mountain church of St. Michael. From Büsingen, you hike on the scenic route always along the Rhine to Schaffhausen. Once you arrive in Schaffhausen, stroll through the beautiful old town up to the Schaffhausen train station.
