The Hirzmann Reservoir is one of the most popular recreational areas in the Lipizzanerheimat. Surrounded by forested hills and peaceful natural scenery, the lake offers excellent opportunities for relaxation, swimming and enjoying the outdoors.
Visitors can make use of a public bathing jetty and a well-maintained sunbathing area free of charge. The jetty also provides beautiful views across the Teigitsch Valley, making the reservoir a popular destination during the summer months.
The Hirzmann Reservoir is also well known among anglers. Fishing permits are available at the nearby Seeblick snack bar by the Ströhberne Bridge. Boats and kayaks can also be rented there. The terrace offers pleasant views of the water and the historic Ströhberne Bridge.
The protected Ströhberne Bridge is one of the area's most distinctive landmarks and a popular photo spot. Together with the surrounding natural landscape, it contributes to the unique character of the reservoir.
