Cycling route Preddvor - Bašelj - Čadovlje - Preddvor

The cycling trip starts in the centre of Preddvor at the doorstep of castle Dvor. We start off with the longest ascent on the route and over a good kilometre gain some 70 meters of altitude. This is followed by mostly easy cycling with beautiful views of nearby peaks, from Srednji vrh to Storžič, and in good weather, we can also admire the distant Julian Alps. We quickly leave behind quaint rural settlements of Mače, Bašelj, and ÄŒadovlje. We cross meadows, forests and fields to Spodnja Bela and it's worth making a stop or two to observe nature. We return to Preddvor on a busier road past Srednja and Zgornja Bela. This trip is suitable for road, trekking and mountain bikes.
