Ski tour to Oberberger Alm

Depending on snow conditions, skis must be carried from the parking lot at Oberberg to the end of the asphalt road (at the last farm). The route first follows the gravel road and then turns onto a forest path at the fork; from this point on, you are in the forest and cross the gravel road from time to time.

From the town center in Berg im Drautal, pass the church and head up to the village of Oberberg.

There are no public transport options directly to the starting point of the route. It is possible to reach the municipality of Berg im Drautal by train.

With good snow conditions, you can still ascend to just below the Knoten, where there are nice open slopes for skiing down. Via the connecting path to Oberberger Alm, you can also reach Emberger Alm without major effort.
