Easy mountain route (also suitable for families with older children) over beautiful alpine meadows in the Nockberge Biosphere Park. Dreamlike views of the Nockberge and the Hohe Tauern with the Hochalmspitze. There is a rustic tavern at the Lamprechthütte. Enjoy freshly caught trout from the alpine lake. (Note: the hut is not always open)
From the starting point Thomannbauerhütte, trail no. 193 gently ascends to the Rabenkofel. After a short break at the summit cross, the hiking trail continues over alpine meadows towards Stileck. At Stileck (highest point of the route), you can enjoy the panorama and the tranquility before heading back. The descent leads via the Langnock towards the Lamprechthütte. After a stop there, you hike back along the forest road (approx. 20 min) to Thomannbauerhütte. (Note: the hut is not always open)
