Follow the hiking trail marker no. 2
The hiking trail starts on the east side of the St. Georgen Abbey and passes by the lake's bathing areas. On the meadow path, you continue along the vegetation edge of the moor until you meet the connecting road between Dellach and St. Peter. After a short stretch on the road, the trail leads through the partially forested moor to the Lavabach, which flows through the moor basin. In the settlement of Fiming, the path goes northeast for a short distance along Längseestrasse and then ascends gently back to St. Georgen Abbey.
