Stoneman Miriquidi MTB section Plesivec Klinovec

We start from Plesivec directly on a section of the newly created blue trail down to Pstruzi. Saddle down and enjoy! Above the settlement of Lípa (Lindig) the route runs along the road with little traffic along the Eliásuv Potok (Eliasbach) via Mariánská (Mariasorg) to the hill. After a flowing descent you reach Jáchymov (St. Joachimsthal, 672 m, oldest radium bath in the world), the birthplace of the thaler, later the dollar. The longest ascent to the highest peak in the Ore Mountains, the 1,244 m high Klínovec (Keilberg, metamorphic sedimentary rock), begins here at almost 600 meters in altitude. The route will be rerouted from the roundabout. Immediately afterwards, turn right in the direction of Sucha. With wonderful views, it goes steadily uphill to Klinovec. The observation tower, 1884, was restored in 2013 and the mountain hotel is being rebuilt.
