You reach the starting point of the circular route from the marketplace via Tiedexerstraße towards Tiedexertor. Ride past Tiedexertor and turn right into Ivenstraße after 300 meters. Another approx. 100 meters and you have reached the old bridge and a few hundred meters further you pass the ancient linden tree at Ohle Hof. The trunk circumference of the 600-year-old tree is seven meters.

Along the Krumme Wasser lined with poplars and willows on largely flat terrain the path leads to Kuventhal. Already between 1827–1830 the valley bridge Kuventhal, formerly Wilhelmsbrücke, was built here over the valley of the Krumme Wasser and named after Duke Wilhelm of Cambridge. The current two-level bridge carries both the federal and district road over the valley. At the time of construction in the 1950s, it was a technical masterpiece.

Past the Kuventhal tower, you reach the village of Wenzen. From here you can visit the “small chapel” or take a detour for ice cream in Brunsen. Through beautifully embedded villages in the landscape, it goes back to the starting point, Einbeck.
