Vorderhunsrück and Untermosel

The tour initially leads over the Schinderhannes-Untermosel cycle path with wide views on 23 km through meadows and fields down to Burgen/Mosel. Burg Bischofstein is located directly opposite. You cycle downstream Mosel and pass Brodenbach. In the side Ehrbachtal with the famous Ehrbachklamm, the Ehrenburg perches on a rock spur. Above the small wine village of Alken, which follows, lies Burg Thurant in the vineyards. In a wide bend of the Mosel, Oberfell stretches along the bank and on the following section to Niederfell, you pass one of the many dams on the Mosel. At the exit of Niederfell, you go through the woods of the Aspeler Bachtal up to the heights of the Vorderhunsrück to Pfaffenheck. The tour then leads almost flat via Boppard-Buchholz, Fleckertshöhe station, and Dörth back to the starting point.
