Königsleiten - Müllachtal - Salzachtal - Salzach hut

Take the Königsleiten village cable car up to the mountain station. From there, you start towards the first destination, the Müllachgeier located at 2,254 m above sea level. After a short break, continue via the Mottland-Grundalm into the Salzach valley and from there along the spring trail back to the Salzach hut at 1,650 m above sea level, where you can relax and enjoy refreshments. From there, return back to Königsleiten!

Do not leave marked hiking trails – keep dogs on a leash!

Via the A10 Tauern motorway to Werfen, then via the B 311 to Schwarzach, Zell am See, then on the B 168 to Mittersill and further via the B 165 to Wald – via the Old Gerlos road or the Krimml toll road to Königsleiten.

OR: Via the A 12 coming from Munich to the Kufstein South exit (St. Johann-Kitzbühel-Pass Thurn) and then further via the B 165 to Wald – then via the Old Gerlos road or the Krimml toll road to Königsleiten.

Or: Via Achensee (Achen Pass) and Zillertal, then further via the B 169 to Zell am Ziller and the B 165 Hainzenberg and Gerlos Pass to Königsleiten.
