From the Loferer Alm to the Steinplatte

We start our hike at the Loferer Alm at the mountain station of Almbahn II. From here, we pass the Schönblick guesthouse and go over a saddle down again towards the Schönbühelbahn. From here begins the Klemmerichsteig, which leads us to the Steinplatte.

For the return journey, you either go back the same way or walk along the railway down towards the valley station and then take bus 4012 from Waidring towards Lofer. From there, it's just 3 minutes to the valley station of Almbahn I.
