From Grömitz, it goes on a medieval bike route to the port city Neustadt in Holstein. The route starts at the pier forecourt, leading through picturesque villages around Bentfeld, Sibstin, and Hasselburg to the center of Neustadt. On site, you can join a journey into the past with a medieval city tour starting at the Kremper Gate. After a small refreshment at the harbor, the route continues along the coast via Pelzerhaken and Rettin back to the Baltic Sea resort Grömitz.
From the pier forecourt in Grömitz, the route goes through the villages Brenkenhagen and Bentfeld to Sibstin. Passing the Hasselburg estate, it continues to the port city Neustadt in Holstein, where the zeiTTor Museum with lots of interesting information about the city's history awaits. The harbor invites you to take a break and enjoy a stroll. Afterwards, the route goes past Pelzerhaken and Rettin along the coast back to Grömitz.
Sturdy footwear and a roadworthy bike are the most important prerequisites. In the summer months, drinks and sun protection are also recommended.

From the A1 motorway, take exit 13 Neustadt i.H. / Pelzerhaken onto the B501 towards Grömitz. Follow the B501 to the destination.
Take the train to Neustadt in Holstein station. From there, a bus will take you directly to the Baltic Sea resort Grömitz. Bicycle transport is possible.
A paid parking lot is available for you at the pier forecourt in Grömitz.
You can park your car free of charge in the large parking lot and at the town entrance marina.

On the way back in Rettin, stop at Strandliebe and enjoy a coffee with the best view of the Baltic Sea.
