Hotel Hirschen

Our hotel Hirschen is located in the heart of Grindelwald at the feet of the Eiger Northwall. The Gondola First is near the hotel and easily reachable by foot. The skibus to the Männlichen area goes just 50m from the hotel. The train station and the Sportscenter has a walking distance of 3-5 minutes. In the direct neighborhood you will find a lot of bars, restaurants and shops.

The hotel

The Hotel Hirschen contains 8 Superior double rooms, 6 Comfort double rooms, 14 Standard double rooms und 2 Single rooms. Our restaurant is open from Tuesday until Saturday and has warm kitchen from 12 a.m. until 9 p.m. We offer special cheese fondues, Raclette and Flammkuchen.

New opening of our sauna complex this winter. Relax in our bio- or finish sauna. Enjoy a footbath or recover in our relax room. For a minimum stay of 2 nights on we offer you free entrance.

The rooms

The Superior double rooms have a size of about 24 m2 and a balcony with mountain view. They are equipped with a seating area, HD-TV with radio function, safe and wooden floor. The furniture is kept in traditional wooden style. These rooms feature a spacious bathroom with tub and toilet. We can bed our superior rooms up to 4 people.

Try our Premium Standard Double Rooms. This category is 28 m² in size and features a semi-open bathroom with shower and separate toilet. The rooms are equipped with a sofa, HD TV with radio function, safe and laminate flooring. The furniture is in a traditional wooden style. These rooms can accommodate up to 4 people.

The * Comfort Rooms * have a size of 18 m2 and have a balcony with mountain view. The rooms are equipped with a sofa, HD-TV with radio function, safe and wooden floor. The furniture is kept in traditional wooden style. These rooms feature a spacious bathroom with tub and toilet. Some of our Comfort rooms have a extra bed so that we can bed the room up to 3 people.

The *standard double room * have a size of approximately 16 m2. These rooms are located in both the main house and in the Chalet Hirschen and have no balcony or mountain view. The standard rooms are equipped with HD-TV with radio function, safe and wodden floor. The furniture is kept in traditional wooden style. These rooms feature a spacious bathroom with tub and toilet. In some of our standard rooms we can put up to 3 people.

The Single room have a size of about 14 m2. Some of the single rooms have a balcony with mountain view. The rooms are equipped with HD-TV with radio function, safe and wooden floor. The furniture is kept in traditional wooden style. These rooms have a private bathroom with bath or shower and toilet.
