The city of Singen responded to the Nordic Walking boom in the early 2000s by installing, with financial support from four sponsors, four Nordic Walking routes in the city center, at Hartberg, and at Schienerberg. The aging signage has now been renewed and integrated into the "Genusswalken" concept in Bohlingen. In total, there are now six uniformly signposted circular routes.
This easy, inner-city route starts at the Scheffelhalle in Schaffhauserstraße. Right at the beginning, the circular route leads into the Stadtgarten of Singen. At the start, the two branches of the Aach river are in close proximity. The route leads across the grounds of the 2000 Landesgartenschau, past allotment gardens, back to the Stadtgarten and the Aach, returning to the Scheffelhalle. Although this route is essentially an inner-city one, the circular route mostly passes through natural areas. At 3.3 km in length, this circular route is the shortest Nordic Walking route in Singen and is ideal for beginners and less trained walkers.
Signposted access to the parking lot Landesgartenschau (festival grounds) from all directions.
By the Seehas regional train to the stop "Singen Landesgartenschau". Also accessible by various bus lines to the bus stop "Scheffelhalle".
Parking lot at the Scheffelhalle or parking lot Landesgartenschau (festival grounds).
