Iron Bridge, power house, reservoir, water castle

Starting from the Laufbachstraße hiking car park, the path first passes the power house, along the Laufbach stream to the Iron Bridge.

After crossing the road, the path continues along the Laufbach trail to the reservoir and the water rest area in the district "Glashütte." From there, the path continues on a level trail to the memorial stone on the old hillside pipeline in the Junkerwald forest and back to the Iron Bridge. From there, about 100 meters of elevation must be overcome to reach the water castle.

After the forest section, wide views open up over the Rhine plain. The path returns to the starting point, the Laufbachstraße hiking car park, passing through the district "Äckerle."
