Bidasoa Greenway

The road begins in Oieregi to reach in its first section to the beautiful square of Legasa, surrounded by huge mansions. It then joins the Bidasoa River accompanied by a leafy grove until Doneztebe-Santesteban. This section is often used by motor vehicles and livestock, so care must be taken. Before reaching Sunbilla, the route passes through 3 tunnels surrounded by dense forest.

In the direction of Bera, it passes through the old stations of Igantzi and Lesaka, of which nothing remains. In this area a bunker from the civil war is preserved. In Bera, we must highlight its beautiful old town, which gives way to the track, which runs between the river and the steep slopes of the Pyrenees, to Endarlatsa. From there, it enters the lands of Guipuzcoa to reach Behobia (Irun), arriving at the end of the Txikito train route.
