The ascent proceeds leisurely in beautiful and open terrain up to the Soila Alm. The same path leads you back down to the valley.
This tour route was created in 2015 as part of the “Environmentally friendly ski mountaineering” project by the German Alpine Club in cooperation with local representatives (forestry, hunting, and farmers).
Please respect existing wildlife quiet zones and avoid the time between dusk and dawn, as wildlife is particularly sensitive to disturbance during this time.
From the parking lot at the Laber cable car, first orient yourself along the cable car, a short way up the mountain, until you reach the forest road. Follow this, always along the Laine, to the Bärenbadflecken where you turn right and ascend to the Soila Alm through open terrain.
