The start is at the car park for ski tourers above the valley station of the Hörnlebahn at the Tannenbankerllift. From here, go right along the piste through a small wooded area. Then always climb up along the left edge of the piste to the Sonneneck and continue along the right edge of the family run past the mountain rescue hut to the Hörnlehütte.
Please be considerate of descending skiers and always ascend at the edges of the piste.
From the Hörnlehütte, go directly to the front Hörnle. After a small descent, you reach the rear Hörnle after a few hundred meters.
Return to the Hörnlehütte via the same path but without climbing up the front Hörnle again.
From the Hörnlehütte, ski back down the family run to the valley.
This route was created as part of the project "Environmentally friendly ski mountaineering" by the German Alpine Club in 2015 in cooperation with local representatives (forestry, hunting and farmers).
Please do not enter or use the winter protection areas!
