Winter hiking - Weidmoos

You start in Oberammergau at the Ammer and follow it upstream towards Ettal. At the junction before Ettal, turn right to the Ettaler Mühle and cross the valley through the Weidmoos. Here, small crystal-clear streams run, which soon unite to form the Ammer. On the other side of the Ammer, you hike back to Oberammergau. Alternatively, after the Ettaler Mühle, you can cross the federal road towards Oberammergau and hike back to Oberammergau on this side via the Vogelherdweg. This path is not cleared but is mostly easily passable as a footpath.
