Winter hike - Pulvermoos

You start at the parish church in Unterammergau and go via the village street to the federal road, which you cross at the traffic light. Through the town, follow the Hofstadelstraße and leave the town via the Moosweg into the Pulvermoos nature reserve. You follow the Ammer river upstream to Oberammergau.

On the way back, you hike along the federal road in direction Steckenberg to Unterammergau or alternatively via the Romanshöhe (see winter hike "Altherrenweg"). Duration approx. 2 hours, via Romanshöhe 3 hours.

With the perfect equipment, your personal winter day in the Ammergau Alps Nature Park will be unforgettable. The appropriate winter equipment such as crampons (spikes for hiking boots), trekking poles, snowshoes, sleds, or cross-country skis can be rented at our rental stations:
