Längenberger Bauernpfad

The Längenberger Bauernpfad starts at the church in Zimmerwald. The first steps lead over the main road towards Niedermuhlern past the former Pfrundschür with a view of the Bernese 4000-meter peaks. At the first intersection, the path turns onto the side street towards Obermuhlern into the hamlet Underi Schür. It continues between hedges and farmhouses through to Obermuhlern. From there it steadily rises to the forest edge of the Allmidholz. There is a fire pit with a beautiful view of the mountains. Then the route continues about 150 meters on the hiking trail to the next intersection. There the path leaves the hiking trail turning right towards the farm at Obere Wald. From there it goes on side and field paths back past the observatory and down the steep Christboumacher back to the church in Zimmerwald. Along the way, there are numerous information boards on farms as well as along the fields and meadows that provide exciting numbers and facts about agriculture on the Längenberg. This easy walk is suitable for strollers.
