Arrival by train:

Lake Neusiedl is easy & comfortable to reach by train. Whether you come from Switzerland, Germany, the west or south of Austria: you can easily change trains at Vienna main station. The ÖBB regional trains take you to Neusiedl am See station in just under 40 minutes, where coordinated bus and train connections towards Pamhagen / Fertőszentmiklós or Eisenstadt and Sopron are also offered. Most trains allow taking your bicycle: a reservation for your bike is mandatory on Railjet, EC/IC, and Nightjet trains. Regional trains take your bike without reservation, depending on the availability of bicycle spaces.
