The start is in a cozy group at Gasthaus Holzmann towards the border at Schneiderberg. From there, the hike leads through shady mixed forests to Alsoszölnök. In Alsoszölnök, there is a stop at a rustic country inn for refreshment. After this relaxing break and fortification, the hike continues towards Raabauen - following the footsteps of the Ottomans - back to the border.
From the border to Gasthaus Holzmann, we might encounter adventurous canoeists.

The hike along the border between Austria and Hungary takes place on paved forest roads.
In the town center of Alsoszölnök, there are paved country roads.
The hike back to the border - along the Raabauen - takes place on natural valley floor (theme path from the Örség National Park).
From the border in Alsoszölnök to Gasthaus Holzmann, we hike on a well-paved country road.
With hiking equipment (hiking boots, clothing suitable for the weather) and a walking stick, you are prepared for the adventurous hike.
A personal passport is required for cross-border hiking.
