Starting at the Sägaplatz car park, the path gently winds through the Schellenberg forest towards Hinterschellenberg. The path passes the St. Georg chapel, which probably dates back to around 1700. After following the road for a few meters, the path gently ascends out of the village. At this point, there is a wonderful view of the Ruggeller Riet. Then it continues always slightly uphill along the Gantenstein through the Unterländer forest. Good footwear is necessary here, especially in wet and snowy conditions, as the path partly runs over many roots. After about 90 minutes, the starting point at the Sägaplatz car park is reached again.
