Trailrun: Brigels - Frisal - Brigels

The start of the trail is best reached by public transport. At the Tavanasa-Breil/Brigels train station, switch from the train to the bus going to Brigels. Get off at the Breil/Brigels Posta stop. Now your route can begin. After the first section on an asphalt road, you quickly reach the end of the village Cuort. Before the bridge, a dirt road leads left along the river into the narrow valley. At the end of the forest path, continue following the hiking trail upstream. The trail leads directly into the high plain Val Frisal. Here it is worth taking a break and enjoying the view. The flora and fauna in Val Frisal are unique and located at the foot of a glacier.

The return path leads you up to Alp Nova Sura near the mountain ridge. Here you will be rewarded with spectacular views into the Val Frisal and towards Brigels. From here, it goes down over Alp Nova again to the river where you join the outbound route and take the same route back to the starting point.
