Round route Adorf - Explore the Diemelsee holiday region by bike

An easy bike route. The start and finish point is at the parking lot in the town center by the miner's monument.

From the starting point, we cycle towards Bad Arolsen, after about 200 m we then turn into Heimberg. Here awaits a steep climb, which we may have to push our bikes up. We slowly leave Adorf and head towards Weißenborn. At the farmhouse, we should stop briefly and look to the left towards Upland. With good visibility, you can see the Ettelsberg tower on the Willingen local mountain. Then we continue right onto the country road and shortly after turn left into the field path Im Meer. Past the natural landmark Martenberg continuing towards the Grube Christiane. Here you should plan a longer break and take a guided tour of the visitor mine. Afterwards, we start the way back and cycle parallel to the country road on the miners' path towards Adorf. After about 10 minutes, we reach our starting point again at the miner's monument.
