For sport climbers there are seven sectors with 35 routes available, which have different difficulty levels (between UIAA 4 and 8) and heights from 15 to 30 meters. All in all, it is a climbing garden that offers a lot for sport and hobby climbers as well as families. Furthermore, there is a via ferrata. The altitude difference is about 100 meters and it has a length of about 200 running meters.
Via ferrata:
Well hidden in the shady beech forest on the western slopes of the Koralpe, a varied via ferrata about 250 meters long was built in the climbing garden Eitweg. The route leads over seven rock formations and connects them with some bridges. You can break off the route at many points and easily descend through the forest to the access path. The rock is crystalline or slate and dries relatively quickly after rain. The route is suitable for beginners and families due to its length and break-off options. However, small children under 1.30 meters will have problems on the bridges.
