Treffner Rundwanderweg - Bewegungsarena Ossiacher See

The municipal office in Treffen is the start of this medium-length route with green directional signage. After a short section along the federal road, the route turns right onto Pöllingerstraße and then heads northwest via Köttwein to Winklern to the Pilz Museum Treffen. Here, at km 3.5, you cross the Millstätter Straße again and enter the unpaved, very scenic second part of the route. Along the Afritzer Bach, you walk to Görtschach and back along the Schlossstraße past the sports ground to the starting point at the municipal office.

The town center of Treffen is regularly accessible by public transport.

At the turnaround point in Winklern, a visit to the Pilz Museum and the Ellie Riehl Puppet World is worthwhile. There are also three Buschenschank taverns and, right at the starting point, a guesthouse and cafe for refreshment opportunities.
