Informácie o prehliadke

The Flow Country Trail on Petzen is, at about 11.5 km in length, not only the longest flow trail in Europe but also the best worldwide since its award by IMBA in 2014. Countless tables, berms, and steep turns await on this track fixed with macadam gravel, which elegantly snakes down the South Carinthian local mountain with an incline of around 10%. Along the way, there are plenty of rest areas and impressive views of South Carinthia.

Three cross-country tracks branch off from the trail, leading back to the main route. In the valley, a practice course and three trial courses await the bikers. A bike shop and wash station are also available.

halb gut

Die harte Oberfläche des Trails ist ja an den allermeisten Stellen super, aber wenn die Oberfläche weggespült wird entstehen recht tiefe Rinnen, die dann ziemlich überraschend daherkommen können, man darf also vom Tempo her nicht davon ausgehen, dass alles so glatt ist! An einigen Stellen geht es fast senkrecht runter neben dem Trail, dort ist also auch große Vorsicht angesagt gerade mit Kindern. Bei uns lagen dann auch recht große Steine am Trail, kann passieren, aber da dort eine Schotterhalde oberhalb des Trails ist, wird das nicht das erste Mal sein, also ich in dem Sinne: volles Tempo ballern bitte nicht bei Einsteigern!
