At the summit, you are rewarded with a view of the Weißensee, a great view into the Kreuzeck group in the north - the Hochtristen (2,536 m) and the Sensenpitz (2,480 m) stand magnificent there - and also over the Gailtal Alps, to the Weißensee and far into the Carnic Alps in the south.
This snowshoe hike runs along the B6 hiking trail. Alternatively, you can walk from Bockleitn (1940 m) to the mountain station of the last lift at the right edge of the slope. Return route: in the area of the ascent route.

Either from Greifenburg (at the Billa supermarket) or from Berg (train station or eastern village entrance), take the road to Emberger Alm.
During the Christmas and semester holidays, there is a ski bus to Emberger Alm. Further information is available from the tourism office in Berg, Tel. +43 4712 532-18
Recommended parking - shortly before you reach Emberger Alm - a large parking area is available on the right side.

At Emberger Alm, there are three inns to stop at: the Fichtenheim, Sattlegger's Alpenhof, and the Dühnofenhütte.
Snowshoes and poles can be rented from Drausport, the Oberdrautal sports school at Emberger Alm.
