Ideal beginner route to expand your ski touring experience and gain first experience off-piste in open terrain.
From the parking lot near the beginner area (button lifts), the route leads you along the Lago del Pramollo (lake on the Italian side) to the edge of the forest.
Now you walk a few meters along the cross-country ski trail (taking into account cross-country skiers and winter hikers), then continue via the steadily ascending summer hiking trail (also bike trail "Livio") leading you through the forest to reach the high plateau near the Madritschen peak.
From here the route continues over open areas, almost parallel to the border, to the summit cross of Madritsche.
Descent:
The stated time only includes the ascent time, not the descent (the descent takes place – depending on snow conditions, weather, and skill – via the piste or through open terrain near the ascent route).
