Himmelbauer - Lonza - Mallnitz

From the Himmelbauer alpine inn (National Park info point) along an alpine path to Staneralm. From here, a gently ascending crossing hiking trail with magnificent views into the Möll Valley and to the Kreuzeck group to the Gartrücken, which leads over Lonzahöhe and Dolomitenblick to the summit cross of the Lonzaköpfel.

For the descent, there are two options: either back along the ascent route (see map) over the mountain ridge via Dolomitenblick and Lonzahöhe, then crossing northward to Häuseralm. Alternatively, from the summit directly to Häusleralm (surefootedness required)

Then over Watzinger Alm back directly to Mallnitz train station.
