Irschen alpine pasture panorama trail

The alpine pastures at the foot of the Scharniks count among the most beautiful landscapes in the Kreuzeck group. The hike leads to the alpine hut "Ochnser Alm," then past the Pflügl hut and along the mountain meadows to the Unteralm hut on the Weneberger Alm. There you can enjoy a delicious mountain snack and a magnificent panoramic view of the Lienz Dolomites. The circular hike leads back over the Weneberger Alm to the parking lot at the Leppner Alm.

Trail condition:
Well-marked alpine pasture hiking trail with little elevation difference, the return path takes about 30 minutes on the forest road and then over the forest paths back to the Leppner Alm.

Via the B100 to Gröfelhofer Wirt (west of Dellach). Here follow the signs "Irschen" or "Leppner Alm." Drive-up to the Leppner Alm parking lot possible.
