Starting from the Leppner Alm car park, the hiking trail leads over the alpine pastures above the treeline to Knappensee. More than 300 years ago, gold and silver were mined here. A magnificent panoramic rest area today commemorates the golden times of the small mountain village at the foot of the Scharnik. Return route via the Ochsneralm hut with a stopover.
