Culinary 3-Alm Hiking Tour

The hiking tour across alpine pastures starts at the adventure aqua trail "Bergwasser” and leads past the reservoir and downhill to the Rudnigbach stream. After an exciting crossing of the ditch and the mountain stream, which is still small at this point, we carry on across alpine meadows to the Rudnigalm. Having had a stop with a hearty lunch, we continue with the second leg of the hiking tour by walking in direction Tröpolacher Alm. The trail leads via the Spießhütte and then downhill the steep slopes on the eastern side of the Zweikofel. The alpine farmers on the Tröpolacher Alm present cheese specialities. After a refreshing break, we continue with the third leg of the hiking tour by walking in direction Tressdorfer Alm. This is the most exciting part of the day. We cross the ditch of the Rudnigbach stream again. The landscape is already wilder and rugged at this point  and the surrounding, pristine forest looks like a scene from a fairy tale.  After a walk of around 10 km, we arrive at the show-cheesemaking dairy on the Tressdorfer Alm.
