If you feel like taking a little walk on the mountain, then the cosy path on the Nockalm is definitely the right choice. With the nostalgic Nockalmbahn you ascend to airy heights in a relaxed way. Up top awaits you a spectacular view. The view stretches over the entire Kirchheim valley as well as the side valley of St. Oswald down to the Millstätter See. To the south, the massive mountains of the Carnic and Julian Alps rise into the blue sky and to the west, in good weather, you might even spot the Großglockner.
The groomed snow path also invites you to go snowshoeing. Past the reservoir pond on the Nockalm, the path leads to the Millstätter Seebahn. There you are rewarded with a great view of the Millstätter See. For a little refreshment, the Sulznig hut or the Nockalm hut take care of you. On the sun terrace or the fine deck chairs, you can best enjoy the sun.
At the exit of the Nockalmbahn, a hiking trail leads right past the reservoir pond. Simply follow this to the slope of the Millstätter Seebahn and return the same way.
