The Äänemäki mountain biking trail network winds through the Äänemäki area of Äänekoski and is about 18 km long. The routes run through coniferous forests with easy-to-ride and dry terrain. There are three different level routes to choose from: easy, challenging, and difficult.
The 4.3 km easy route is suitable for beginner mountain bikers. The trail is technically mostly easy, but there are a few more difficult sections and some elevation changes. The terrain consists of sandy heath. The 5.1 km challenging route includes more technical sections and some elevation changes, as well as rocks and roots.
