The main starting point of the route is at the Laajavuori ski stadium. The recommended guided direction is clockwise. The direction is shown on the route map. Users of the multi-use trails should take other users into account, and faster users should always yield to slower ones. There is one actual resting spot at the Niemelä lean-to on the route. The route features significant elevation changes and steep climbs, making the loop challenging. This should be considered when planning to start the route. However, the route mainly follows well-maintained paths. The walkability of the trail sections has been improved partly by graveling and building boardwalks. There are services from businesses along the route. The loop has a connecting route to the trails of the LadunMaja outdoor area in Taka-Keljo. Please note that the connecting route does not have as detailed route markings or signs in the terrain.
