Here is a brief guide to reach Morbegno, the starting point of your itinerary:

By Car: Take State Road 38 (SS38) of the Stelvio; it is about 1h 45m from Milan. This is the most flexible way to transport your bicycles.

By Train (Recommended): Morbegno station is served by the Trenord Milan-Lecco-Sondrio-Tirano line. Trains depart hourly from Milano Centrale (duration ~1h 40m) and often allow bike transport.

By Flight: The nearest airport is Orio al Serio (Bergamo), followed by Milan Linate and Malpensa. From the airport you can continue by shuttle to Milano Centrale train station or rent a car.
