The route develops on a natural and asphalted road surface in alternation and offers numerous artistic points of interest and views over the valley. Starting from the hamlet of Piatta in Valdisotto, you proceed along via Canaletta, taking the S545 path to the left at the fork, which leads directly to San Pietro locality. From the Church of Ss. Pietro, Marcellino and Erasmo, which externally appears as a sober construction but internally houses artistic works of great refinement and elegance, continue on the main road until the intersection, then take the S540 path. After the curve, proceed on an asphalted road towards Ciuk locality. The route continues on the S540 path which, at a certain point, joins the S543 path, until reaching Bormio 2000.
The Church of Ss. Pietro, Marcellino and Erasmo. The first record dates back to 1309. In 1537 the building, with a gabled facade, a rectangular-based apse, and a tall and very slender bell tower, was restored. Inside it is presented as a precious treasure chest of sixteenth-century painting by Vincenzo De Barberis, a well-known painter from Brescia.
