A real holiday with the family and for the family.

Our farm is a small family-run guesthouse, now in its 3rd generation. We are located on the outskirts of Watschig, in the centre of the beautiful Gailtal valley. We love what we do: and our guests can feel that. The Schullerhof is a family-run business with an extra portion of charm and an extra touch of feel-good factor. Genuine and with a lot of heart and soul. A look behind the scenes pays off.

The coexistence of the children with the animals is very important to us. Brushing the ponies, playing with the cats, feeding and scratching the pigs, stroking the goats and rabbits and, of course, helping with the catering - everyday life for us, something special and unique for the children. The personal care of our animals gives the whole family a holiday close to nature. We take a lot of time to introduce the children to riding and to experience direct contact with the ponies. We go riding 3-4 times a week. It can happen that one or the other parent is allowed to get to know our ponies up close by leading them. Of course, one adult accompanies each pony on every ride. Only experienced riders with many years of experience are allowed to ride alone in the group.

The highlight of the family holiday is the weekly children's day, where we take over and look after the children for half the day, from around 10am - 4pm. We go on a tractor excursion, collect stones at the neighbouring river, which the children can then paint, and play various age-appropriate games,... Parents can also enjoy a day out on their own and go on a hike or an excursion. Because only when the children have fun and something to do can the parents finally switch off, relax, recharge their batteries and really enjoy their holiday and come to rest.

Another highlight is our weekly campfire in the evening. It's not just the children's eyes that light up.

Our Schullerhof is a paradise for children. Over 10.000 m² of play and sunbathing lawn where children can move freely, an indoor children's playroom and youth room with table football, various bicycles for young and old with child seats and the popular go-kart are available to you free of charge at any time.

Another focus of the Schullerhof is the culinary area, mainly with products from the Carnic region.

We therefore attach great importance to a varied breakfast buffet. With fruit salad, yoghurt, home-made jams, a variety of grains and of course ham, salami, home-made bacon or sausages, cheese and different types of pastries, there is something for everyone.

In summer you have the opportunity to enjoy breakfast in front of the house on the terrace, with a 50 km view of the Dobratsch. You are also welcome to use our two cosy Carinthian-style dining rooms.

In the high season we are happy to spoil all our guests together at breakfast. In the early and late season, our guests are of course also welcome to cater for themselves. (Bread roll service possible at any time)
