The trail has three main access points: Meierhof, Pfaffengraben and Schiltern
Coming out of the station, turn right. At the first opportunity (Pizzeria zum Spitz) turn left, follow the street over a creek and after the curve turn sharply right. After about 150 meters continue left into the forest and then keep left. After a while, the Robinson playground appears by Waldgasse. Continue following the signs, keep left again and walk along the edge of the forest to Thernberger Straße in Schiltern. Then take the same way back to Seebenstein station.

Preparation
Make sure when choosing the route that it matches your mountain experience and fitness. Inform yourself about the weather forecast in advance. The weather in the mountains can change surprisingly fast. Therefore, always start out properly equipped (e.g. rain protection).
Check whether the huts and snack stations you want to visit along the way are open. Inform someone about your choice of route and your planned return before you set off.
