Rundweg Jaweinberg
The trail, whose name comes from the Slavic word *jasny* (meaning “bright”) and refers to a former settlement, branches off to the right in the Königsgraben after the second stream crossing. After about 200 m, you’ll emerge from the forest and pass the abandoned village of Gerhartsdorf. A few hundred meters further on, you’ll reach the village of Thuma, where you’ll turn right before the row of cellars on the right and follow a small path back into the forest. This path is shared by the Jasweinberg and Stranbergrund hiking trails. After you’ve now completely circled the Jasweinberg (577 m), you’ll reach the edge of the forest again, where you’ll turn left back onto the Königsgrabenweg and head back to the Thaya Bridge.
