Weinser Rundwanderweg

You start at the Hinterleithner Inn and hike uphill past Wiespoint toward Burgstall. Continue on to Viehtrift (1-5), past the Kasbauernhof (there was once such a severe famine in the southern Waldviertel that people traded everything for food; the Kasbauernhof in Viehtrift takes its name from that time—the former owner is said to have traded his farm for a loaf of cheese). To reach Hammet, walk through the forest toward Kleehof (connection to the RWW 22 or to Way of the Cross No. 24). Then hike down to Viehtrift (20–22), continuing via Rottenberg and Weins back to the Hinterleithner Inn.
